| 簡介內容 | Kyoto Tachibana University was founded in 1967 as a private university for women on the basis of Tachibana Educational Institution, which has a long history of more than one hundred years. The university now consists of three faculties and eight departments. There are approximately 2,400 undergraduate students, 50 graduate students and 30 international students. In 2005 the university became co-educational, and its original philosophy, "foster independent women," has been reinterpreted as the idea of "independence" and "co-existence" to achieve a symbiotic society regardless of gender. We also added "clinical knowledge" as the university motto, trying to enhance career education. |
