| 簡介內容 | Komazawa University is a private coed university and founded in 1882.
We endeavor to provide students with a solid education grounded in the spirit of Zen Buddhism by which it is hoped that they will be able to make positive contributions to world peace and the well-being of mankind and to seek truth through academic fields of the East and West.
We have a magnificent Buddhist Library, a Zen Buddhist institute, 2 gymnasiums, a student hall, and audio-visual rooms. It also has auditoriums, computer rooms and international center, and institutes for judicial research population research, and accounting.
Komazawa University fosters 39 sports and 26 extracurricular cultural activity clubs. There are more than 100 sports clubs and 100 private cultural clubs. The university sponsors school festivals, a welcome party for incoming freshmen, a farewell party for graduating seniors, a university-wide athletic festival, Zen meditation sessions, field trips, and special seminar parties.
We are located next to Tokyo Olympic Memorial Park. It is in the scenic northwest of Kanto Plains. The university is very conveniently located near the center of Tokyo being only 4 miles south of Shibuya, but the campus is very quiet and peaceful, surrounded by trees and other plant life.
