| 簡介內容 | Founded in 1388, the University of Cologne is one of the oldest universities in Germany. Based on academic tradition and open to new developments in all areas, the University of Cologne attracts scientists and students from all over the world. With about 45.000 students, it is one of the most popular universities in Germany.
With its seven faculties, it offers students an enormous variety in choice and combination of courses and subjects. The University of Cologne is a research university at highest level with more than 250 cooperating institutes and departments. Students who are demanding on themselves and on the university will find best studying conditions and great opportunities for interdisciplinary research. Specialities include the Life Sciences with a close cooperation between science and medicine, Environmental studies, Astro-, Solid State- and Nuclear-Physics, Scientific and Business Computing, Management/Economics, German Language and Literature, Regional Studies with particular emphasis on Africa, South East Asia, Latin America and Europe, Media Studies and Special Education.
