| 簡介內容 | Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics(NUAA), established in 1952, enjoys a well-balanced development of multiple disciplines in Natural Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences, Management, etc. with the characteristics of Aeronautics, Astronautics and Civil Aviation. NUAA is among the first batch of national key universities entitled to award doctoral degree, master's degree. It is one of the 55 universities with graduate school in China, and it has also been listed as one of the "National Project 211" universities.
NUAA has around 2,900 staff, among whom, 1,600 are academic teachers and professional researchers with more than 1,000 professors and associate professors. 10 Academicians in China's Academy of Science and China's Academy of Engineering are working at NUAA, 268 supervisors for doctoral degrees. NUAA has about 24,600 students, among whom 16,000 are undergraduates, 8,000 are postgraduates and 600 are international students from over 30 countries.
NUAA consists of 16 colleges, including: College of Aerospace Engineering, College of Energy & Power Engineering, College of Automation Engineering, College of Electronic and Information Engineering, College of Mechanical Engineering, College of Material Science & Technology, College of Civil Aviation/College of Flight, College of Science, College of Economics & Management, College of Humanities & Social Sciences, College of Arts, College of Foreign Languages, College of International Education, College of Computer Science and programs, among which 50 are bachelor's programs, 127 master's programs and 52 doctoral programs. There are 9 national key disciplines, 18 provincial key disciplines and 12 postdoctoral exchange centers.
NUAA has set up as many as 95 research institutes, such as UAV, Helicopter Research Institute, etc. and 51 laboratories, among which two are national key laboratories and seven provincial and ministerial key laboratories,. NUAA enjoys best facilities both for teaching and scientific research. It has very strong advantages in the research and application of basic science, and the development of high technology. NUAA has designed and manufactured "CK" series of Remote-controlled UAV,AD series of super-light airplanes and other series of helicopters that have filled in the national gaps in these fields and also measured up to the advanced world standards, and it has also made a lot of breakthroughs in many key projects concerning aeronautic and astronautic research.
NUAA is continuously strengthening its international exchange and cooperation. It has maintained close ties with over 50 universities and famous enterprises from USA, France, UK, Russia, Australia, Germany, Canada, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan and other different countries and regions.
