The Corvinus University of Budapest (former Budapest University of Economic Sciences and Public Administration – BUESPA) was established through the integration of the Budapest University of Economic Sciences (BUES) with the College of Public Administration in 2000 and with three faculties of Szent Istvan University (Faculty of Food Science, Faculty of Horticultural Science and Faculty of Landscape Architecture) on September 1, 2003.
2003: The former University of Horticulture and
Food Industry (three faculties of Szent
Istvan University) joins BUESPA
2004: The name of the university changes to
Corvinus University of Budapest
